Thank you from Iraq. Donated DVD players, DVDs and home theater systems were a loud thank you to members of this Air Force Battalion.
DVD players for the holidays in the Green Zone.
A tremendous thank you and job incredibly well done to all of our armed service members. Those of us associated with Operation BRAVO and millions of Americans are fully aware the free air we breathe and the daily safety from international threats we enjoy is paid for by our soldiers.
During the holiday season of 2003 I started what has become Operation Bravo with a trip to Arifjan to visit one of my co-workers deployed supporting combat operations with the 321st Ordnance BN out of West Virginia. Crutchfield Corporation's corporate partners and employees donated over $20,000 worth of MP3 players, DVD players and DVDs for me to hand out to the soldiers in person. FedEx beat me to the base with the 500 lb delivery. It was wating 200 yards from the tent where I stayed!
We have since sent about $400,000 worth of gear to support our deployed soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. It has been an honor to run this program.
